Circle the spectacular Tongariro National Park, including active volcano of Mount Ngauruhoe (used as Mount Doom in Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings) and then land at the base of your chosen mountain ski-field, ready for a short ride to the slopes and pure skiing bliss.

Mt Ruapehu has two ski fields that both have services including, latest rental equipment, ski school, private lessons and cafe’s to enjoy lunch in the snow!

Land at the bottom of your preferred ski area, Turoa (located on the southern western slopes) or Whakapapa (located on the north western slopes), where a shuttle will be waiting to take you on a short drive to the chair lift to hit the snow.
