Long Island Tours Food and Wine

 Capture the beauty of the Hawke’s Bay grape growing region with your guide and wine specialist, Sophie Kebbell. Lift off in our Eurocopter to view the stunning landscape of the bay. Sweep along the Tuki Tuki River and land at Craggy Range Winery, meet the people and sample the wines.

Hear the story of the sleeping Giant as you fly over Te Mata Peak. Visit Black Barn, enjoy a tasting and wander through their art gallery. Soar over fruit orchards and our expansive vineyards before landing at The Mission Winery. This has the distinction of being the oldest winery in the area with an elegantly restored historic building and beautiful grounds.

A short flight will see you at Te Awa Winery; with its rich diversity of wines and fine cuisine enjoy a light lunch if desired. Tracking coastal to Esk Valley Winery you will be shown how the wine is made and the traditional methods used to craft top New Zealand wines. Enjoy a wine tasting in their underground cellar by candle light.

Sophie will then drive you by road through the Art Deco Capital of the world, Napier City. Nowhere else can you see such a variety of unique buildings in the style of the 1920’s.
 
Drive along the scenic coastline to Elephant Hill winery. This new and innovative winery is sure to impress. Situated in Te Awanga the contemporary architecture and modern vibe makes for a great experience. On conclusion departure by road to arranged location.

Esk Valley by Helicopter
